New Tristram

Tristram is quite famous among Diablo fans as the birth place of Diablo, the lord of terror. Tristram holds its roots back to begining of the story when Diablo and his brothers were exiled to the Sanctuary by the lower minions of hell. The other two brothers, namely Mephisto and Baal, were captured and their soulstone burried. Diablo managed to terrorize the world until finally put to rest by an Jered Cain and his group of monks. His soulstone was buried near Talsande River and a horadric monastery was built over it to protect it. The town of Tristram was formed around it.

As the years passed, the horadrim were forgotten and so was the monastery. Later an eastern lord changes the monastery into a cathedral and his archbishop unleashes Diablo once again. The king is struck with madness and the archbishop starts sacrificing town folks to demons. An unknown warrior arrives to put an end to the mad king and the archbishop. He later battles the Lord of Terror in Tristram and manages to defeat him. However unable to contain the devil within himself, he too soon perishes and wanders towards the dark path. Thus laying waste to the sacred land of Tristram. Once the wanderer leaves the town, it is forgotten… or so we thought. Now, the third installment of Diablo once again revolves around Tristram where the hell breaks loose once again and the world is now under peril.

Looks pretty cool but you made it sound like Tristram was only in the first diablo game when it is in all three games. I hope Diablo 3 comes out before Christmas of 09, 8 years is long enough of a wait.
