The Wizard forms a part of the Heroes Class in the latest Diablo 3 currently developed by Blizzard. The Wizard was showcased in the Blizzcon, where Blizzard unveiled their latest addition to the Diablo series. The wizard is a hero with magical abilities and has been ridiculed by the Abd al-Hazir who happens to be the narrator for the Diablo 3 game contents in the Blizzard site. The wizard is uncouth and reckless. She sports her magic irresponsibly and is always in the pursuit of power. She lacks concern for the world and the people surrounding her. Originating from the Islands of Xiansai, she is supposedly uncooperative and unyielding. Her tutelage under Vizjerei mage proved unfruitful as they failed to restrain her behaviour. She sets out seeking dangerous power and when confronted by Valthek of the Vizjerei mage, she defeats him and evades the pursuers. She is out on the lurch and has been unheard of since her duel with the mage.

The gameplay footage displays her reckless and brazen attitude where she strides in to a hall filled with demons. The video starts of with a mage asking her to behave and not to be so rash. She walks in with a confident stride and battles the small evil foes and proceeds to battle a Boss.

The skills possesed by the wizard are handful and pretty powerful as well. She is agile and has ranged powers. Check the videos below for the skills from the game play footage.

Wizard Skill: Disintegrate

The skills is a basic one and is one of the most powerful skill available. There is laser-like beam of light which rips off the demons and also items alike.

Wizard Skill: Electrocute

There is a blast of rich electric discharge which fries the living crap of the undead. Check the video below for the electrocution of the poor minions of hell.

Wizard Skill: Slow Time

This creates a force field around the wizard and manages to slow down all the projecticles hurled at her. This skill is most useful while battling ranged units as it can slow down all the missiles.

Wizard Skill: Missile

This wizard skill is similar to those present earlier in the necromancer or any other sorcerer in any other game. This hurls a missile at a pointed target.

The teleport skill is most useful while evading large amount of enemies. Check the video to see her quickly evading the crowdd encompassing her.
